- Case report:
A 32-year-old G3P1 singleton pregnant woman was referred to our clinic at 22w5d of gestation of a cleft lip detected during a routine antenatal scan. She had no family history of oral clefts. No abnormalities were found in either karyotype analysis or aCGH of the fetus. During the examination, our impression was right cleft lip (Modified Kernahan’s Y classification: 2-3; Maarse type: 1u). There were no other associated malformations.
The prenatal finding was confirmed at the time of delivery.
